Upon arrival in Austarlia when MacArthur was pressed for a statement, he told the world that he was simply obeying orders from the Presient to break through the Japanese line and come to Australia for the purpose of organizing an offensive against the enemy and the relief of the Philippines. Then he said those charismatic words he is so remembered for, ” I came through and I SHALL RETURN.”(MacArthur). These words were the source of strength and hope for both his besieged army in Bataan as well as the millions of suffering souls in the Philippines for over two years.

Just befor that dark hour of seeming defeat, Jesus spoke the words that have provided comfort and hope for His many besieged soldiers. “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a plave for you. And if I go and prepare a plave for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John:1-3).

Dr. Gerald Sutek has been in the ministry of the Lord since 1968. He is primarily a publick preacher, ministering the Word of God on streeet corners throughout the world.
